Players new to the franchise will no doubt enjoy the runny-jumpy-stabby fun Assassin's Creed has always offered, but longtime fans such as myself will more than likely come away disapointed by this installment. Revelations is undoubtably a victim of its one-year development cycle and feels rushed and at times lazy. That said, the game adds much to the franchise's meta-story (you crafty buggers, Ubisoft) so it's recomended to play before AC3 comes out in October. But no-one would judge you if you waited until September.

Admittedly I have played all of them so the formula is wearing a little thin but it was a well made game with an amazing story. Loved it!!!!!
