  •  Master the god-like powers of each character
  •  All-new fighting gameplay from beat 'em up masters NetherRealm
  •  Uncontainable battles in iconic environments
  •  Minigames and multiplayer modes support your role in the epic story

Injustice: Gods Among Us presents a world where the lines between hero and villain, and ruler and protector, are blurred. A hefty roster of some of DC Comics most iconic Super Heroes and Villains line up for battle, sporting new, unique designs to suit the changed world of the game. The full character roster includes

  •  Aquaman
  •  Bane
  •  Batman
  •  Catwoman
  •  Cyborg
  •  Deathstroke
  •  Doomsday
  •  The Flash
  •  Green Arrow
  •  Green Lantern
  •  Harley Quinn
  •  Hawkgirl
  •  Joker
  •  Lex Luthor
  •  Nightwing
  •  Raven
  •  Shazam
  •  Sinestro
  •  Solomon Grundy
  •  Superman
  •  Wonder Woman

Each hero and villain comes with their own fighting styles, powers and abilities, all designed to be loyal to their DC Universe comic book counterparts. The characters fit into two categories – Power Characters like Superman, Wonder Woman and Bane who rely on their strength and super-powers, and Gadget Characters like Batman, Lex Luthor and Green Arrow who use weapons, armour and other items to win. Each character also boasts a "character trait", a special ability or attack that showcases . Can you master each hero and their god-like powers?

Mortal Kombat developers NetherRealm Studios bring their distinct fighting style to Injustice: Gods Among Us, presenting a kind of fighting game. A wider, cinematic story replaces the traditional ladder-based single-player experience, tying the wider story of the game into each battles. Gone too are the usual three-round battles, replaced by a single bout where each character has two health bars and a Super Meter. Charged by performing combos, your Super Meter will let you unleash your special moves, with a fully charged Super Meter letting you perform your strongest attack.

The Super Meter can also be used in special wager battles called the Clash system. Aided by individualised cutscenes, both players will secretly bet part of their meter, with the highest bidder winning the battle – and stealing the power from their opponent.

The battles in Injustice: Gods Among Us take place in a variety of multi-tiered 3D environments, each based on an iconic DC Comics location like the Batcave, Justice League Watch Tower and the Fortress of Solitude. These interactive locations make the battles even bolder, letting you use the environment around you as a weapon, using vehicles, buildings and more as part of your onslaught. Whether it's Superman lifting a car and smashing it on his opponent, or Batman firing projectiles to cause an explosion to catch his enemy in, these are battles that simply cannot be contained!

The original story of Injustice: Gods Among Us is split into several chapters, during which you will swap between characters as the story progresses and the battles escalate, letting you see every side of the conflict. There are also several mini-games including quick time events, the outcome of which can impact your next battle.Multiplayer options include King of the Hill, an interesting twist that allows up to eight players to watch rival players duke it out while waiting for their turn to join the fray, giving insight into the skills and style of the other online players. Plus, playing through each of the game modes, including those online matches with goal objectives, will earn you XP to unlock avatars and other cool rewards.

Absolutely great game. Confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you're all good. The graphics are identical to Mortal Kombat 2011 and the speed is exactly the same as well. There is more content in Injustice and I highly recommend it. If you are a DC Fan you should get this. If you loved Mortal Kombat 2011 then you should also consider this.

Because i love fighting games, i was very keen to get this, picking my character before seeing what they looked like, learning combos on the demo and so forth. This game being made by the same people who made Mortal Kombat 9, also got me excited, maybe that was a bad thing, because if anyone reading this knows mortal kombat 9, they'll know it was an awesome brutal fighting game, where this one feels as if it could be rated PG, i know they have limitations because they can't kill they superheroes, but this felt a bit ridiculous. Also the game is ridiculously easy to pull off massive combos and pretty much anyone could play, so thats good and bad, because then you get the fighting game masters absolutely dominating you online, it feels unbalanced and rushed. Its a fun game but not even in the shadow of Mortal Kombat 9

i agree with the others. i was expecting a bit more just because it was from the creators of mortal combat. you could say that they this is a kid version. story mode was ok but online is the real challenge you need to put big time in practising just to beat some people they should have made it so that players self evaluate and it searches for a fairer match.over all well worth the $50

This game is ok, not as good as Mortal Kombat but still good. The single player is short; it is a beat em up game after all but i did enjoy it. Nice variety of characters to play as and good online experience. They did improve on many aspects from last game.

Injustice is simply a great fighting game, the fighting arena's are well designed and the character's design themselves are stunning. The action is fast paced and pulling off combos leaves a good taste in your mouth and the game only gets better from there. The singleplayer campaign has a great back story and being able to player every player at some stage of the games allows the player to see the sides of each of our beloved hero's. Each character has their own fighting style and also their own pros and cons(except AquaMan). Finally the multiplayer is great, different game modes allow a change of intensity and you will have many tense times where your will need to clutch a combo to win.
