Product Description

Pokemon Y 3DS Game

Travel an all-new land with all new Pokemon such as Chespin the Grass Type, Fennekin the Fire type or Froakie the Water type! But you’ll also be greeted by some familiar faces too like Pikachu, Magikarp and Psyduck to capture and train, as you once again set out to become the best Pokemon trainer around.

Presented in stunning 3D, your Pokemon battles will look better than ever before as the camera takes on a more dynamic view to capture the new attacks and animations.

  • The cowardly Pokémon Helioptile, a Normal- and Electric-type Pokémon, can generate enough electricity through sunbathing to power machinery. But wise Trainers won't be deterred by Helioptile's lack of bravery. It knows Parabolic Charge, a brand-new move where Helioptile attacks everything around it. Helioptile's HP is restored by half the damage taken by those hit.
  • Fletchling, a Normal- and Flying-type Pokémon, sings with a beautiful chirp that is sure to delight any Trainer. Although it is known to be very friendly, Fletchling will suddenly unleash relentless attacks once it's in battle. For example, when it uses its Fire-type move Flame Charge in battle, in addition to doing damage, Fletchling's Speed increases every time.
  • With a leaf always in its mouth and an intimidating glare that is rarely effective, Fighting-type Pokémon Pancham shows its playful side when it lets out a little smile when its head is pat. Pancham can learn a brand-new move, Parting Shot, which not only lowers an opponent's Attack and Special Attack, but also allows Pancham to switch out for another Pokémon in a Trainer's party during battle.
  • Pokémon X and Pokémon Y introduce a new method of transportation-riding the brand-new Pokémon, Gogoat. This large Grass-type Pokémon is a reliable way to travel certain parts of Lumiose City. In battle, it can use Horn Leech to recover HP equal to half the damage dealt by this move.

Seems to be a really great generation of pokemon, and the sort of add-on elements (like the Olympics thing from HG & SS) all seem to be very interesting. I love that you are able to have control over what your character looks like now. I can't wait to really get into it.

Great game to play. A must have for all pokemon fans. This one is great for all old and new pokemon fans as it pretty much has every single pokemon that has ever existed. Visually the game looks great for the 3ds. This is probably the best pokemon game to come out since the first generation pokemon games

The new features are absolutely amazing! Finally you can customize your character and buy them clothing and accessories as well as hair cuts. Skating on the circle pad is great and makes you feel like you are free to explore more of the world. The only drawback is the lack of 3d in the game.

This is definitely not the best Pokemon game, but that doesn't stop it from being a very enjoyable game anyway. Compared to the other games, this ones main story ended up being above average, throwing some themes in there not generally covered before, but its still quite the standard fare. The post game is almost non-existent, with only two legendary Pokemon to catch once you complete the story. What really gives this title longevity is in the multiplayer and creating your perfect Pokemon to take on all your friends, or strangers over the internet. One thing i should mention is that the 3D effect is absolutely awful. It does not look spectacular and slows the game in almost every battle, in fact, sometimes the game slows down during battles even without the 3D on. Basically, if you play Pokemon exclusively in single player, you might feel disappointed, but there is nothing to hate about the multiplayer battling aspect.
