I haven't played just "Story of Seasons" but I loved the old Harvest Moon games (especially the Rune Factory games), and this one seems to follow along with how the games continually improved game after game. There are some functions that may be a bit annoying, and it is kind of frustrating at first, because it feels like things are impossible to do to begin with, but once you find your groove, the functions in the game, as well as all the characters and such are really cool ^_^
