For those who have played previous Mario games, this game gives you what you love, but in 3D. If you don't play this game in 3D, you are missing out on a fantastic experience. The gameplay is similar to the original Mario games, but a lot more difficult. You have to collect 3 star coins from every level, which are sometimes hard to get, or sometimes hard to see. All in all, the game offers hours of entertainment and when you clock it as Mario, you get to do it all again with Luigi!

Super Mario 3d Land is the first, and currently only game, to make the 3d a necessity, with its inclusion of 3d depth puzzles. The platforming in Super Mario 3d Land is excellent, and it is an excellent game, especially for a handheld. The game lasts around 20 hours for total completion, give or take, and is exceedingly enjoyable.

Well Super Mario 3D Land is...Well this game is GREAT! I mean GREAT! This game is one of the funniest games I've ever played! The graphics and sound are spot on and the game play is just a Masterpiece! This game is a MUST-HAVE 5 stars no question! Nice Job Nintendo!

Just like the previous mario games in the series, this game continues to carry the charm of what has made mario one of the biggest gaming icons. This game is almost like a cross between the original side-scroller mario games mixed with super mario 64 giving 3D roaming in stages. The game is full of replay value and once you complete it, an entire new set of stages open up extending this game even more. For any mario fans this game is a must have!

Super Mario 3d Land is a decent 3d Mario platformer. Just beating the game is stupidly easy and could be done buy a 4 year old with ease. Once you get to the special worlds is when the game because half challenging. I have yet to complete the game but I am up to the Special World 8 and I'm not finding it simple. If you're looking for a brand new 3d mario experience don't buy this, it's the same old mario game with very little changes. Super Mario 3d Land is no where near the quality on SM64, Sunshine or the Galaxy series, but it's still an enjoyable game. <br /><br />People have also mentioned that you need to use 3d to complete some of the levels. there are so parts where it is helpful but you don't need it, I can't see 3d at all and I only struggled with 1 bit.
