According to the "Actors" list there are people in this movie who are not Chris Hemsworth or Tom Hiddleston, and frankly that is to the movie's detriment, but frankly you probably wont remember them. There's a lot of political machinations and threats to the earth that range from uninteresting to flat out boring, and there's actually some pretty incredibly designed action sequences throughout the film (even if they make literally no sense), but the real draw is the two Asgardian brothers who - titan like - carry this movie on their shoulders.
Thor the dark world is an awesome Marvel superhero film. It has a great story line and the special effects are amazing. For this reason, it is worth getting it on a blu-ray 3D copy. Anyone who likes Marvel films or is a fan of Thor will very much enjoy this film.
