The news doesn't come as a complete surprise as there have been hints that it wasn't going to be trapped on PS4 forever but it looks like Death Stranding will no longer be a PlayStation 4-exclusive by the end of 2020.
Kojima Productions broke the exciting news just recently from their official twitter account, teasing that the game will be coming to the PC early summer of 2020.
In an unexpected tweet, the official account thanked their fans for their support on the upcoming game before dropping the hot news that the PC port will arrive next summer.
The PC version will be published by 505 Games, the same group behind the PC version of Control, so if it’s anything like Control, Death Stranding’s port is in good hands!
Overall, this is great news for PC gamers who have been eyeing up Death Stranding knowing they wouldn’t be able to play. There isn’t a confirmed release date for the PC game and we don’t really know much about what the game is about, but considering Kojima’s legacy in producing some of the best games ever made, we can be pretty sure that PC games – alongside PS4 owners – will be in for a treat.
