BrainBox is a fast and fun memory game that does not require any pens, pencils, paper, playing board or even a table! Each round takes 10 seconds so all players are involved. A game lasts as long as you want it to, 10 minutes is the norm, but playing for 5 minutes is great fun also. BrainBox is educational and is perfect for families and groups of friends to play, wherever they are, on a level-playing field. Packed in a sturdy cool magnetic cube box. BrainBox is ready to play without any set-up time needed. The rules are pretty straight forward. You can play solo or with as many people as you want. A player simply picks a card and studies it for 10 seconds before being asked a question from the back, chosen by the roll of a die. A correct answer means the card is kept, if not it is returned to the box. The player with most cards after 5 or 10 minutes wins! The winner may not be who you expect as this fabulous game is about observation and memory, not learned facts! BrainBox Inventions contains 55 cards with the most amazing and simple inventions. Where would we be without the light bulb, space shuttles. the world wide web or even tea bags?
Quickly study the cards to see the different inventions, pictures and facts: you have 10 seconds to look carefully. Now flip the cards over and answer a question chosen by the dice- can you remember the information and pictures? Answer correctly and keep the cards, or if not return the card to the box. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins! BrainBox Inventions contains cards with brightly coloured illustrations and facts about the inventions (who invented them, when and where). Simple to set up and ready to go, each round of this fast-paced game takes about 10 seconds so players don't have to wait long until it's their turn, and you can play for as long as you like- 10 minutes is normal, but 5 minutes is also great fun. This is a fantastic game, I play the BrainBox Inventions Editions every weekend with my boyfriend, we enjoy it very much (of course he would, he always wins! Lol). You have 10 seconds (egg timer included) to look at one side of a card, it has lots of information and pictures for you to read and remember, after the 10 seconds is up you have to give the card to the other person, then you throw the die, what ever number comes up on the die will be used to indicate which questions on the reverse of the card will be asked to that person. If you get the answer correct you keep the card aside, after 10 minutes or however long you want to play you see who has the most cards, and that person wins, but that part doesn't matter so much, its just fun playing :-) It is very interesting to learn about all these different inventions that you wouldn't normally even think about, and help sharpen and improve your memory at the same time. The egg timer and die included in the box makes it so much fun, we laugh just taking the card of each other when the timer has ran out, wondering how much of the information on that card the other has remembered and watching them screw up their faces trying to picture the card again (hehehe). The only problem now is to decide which BrainBox edition to buy next, there are so many. I am going to get the Seniors BrainBox edition for my mother for Christmas so she can play with her friends, and my boyfriend is getting a few of the kid editions for his niece and nephew. And thank you for inventing them Brain Box, I hope you make a Star Trek one, oh and a Harry Potter one too, that would be great. Again great service from ozgameshop.
