I love all Zelda games. What I notice about Spirit Tracks, however, is that there is not much new that truly sets it apart from other Zelda games, other than the trains. This does not stop it from being a good game. The puzzles and combat are challenging and rewarding, and like all Zelda games, Spirit Tracks is truly addicting.
Spirit Tracks, where to start...decent story, ok graphics, repetitive soundtrack, and awful gameplay, make me want to score this game a zero, and go cry in a corner somewhere, reminiscing about the good ol days when Zelda actually had some soul put into it. It is so frustrating and bad, I'd say only get it if you love challenge like me, but it does not mean you will love the game. If you did not like Phantom Hourglass than heed my words. This is lip stick on the ugliest of pigs
The zelda ds games are often passed by as not a full zelda game but let me tell you, these are some of the best in the series, the story is fun and gripping, the game play using the touch screen is a blast and really makes the ds zelda games stand out.
Pretty much like the other Zelda games in the franchise but with more humour and 'cute factor'. Whilst riding the train was exciting at first it does get a bit annoying after a while, although the inclusion of rabbit catching for extra goodies does make it less dreary. The become progressively challenging, although nothing a younger player can't solve (even if it takes them a dozen or so times). Overall a good game, but there is better.
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is essentially Phantom Hourglass with more land and more trains. But seriously, what's not to love? The combat and graphics remain exactly the same, but this time with a new storyline, new ridiculous bosses, and, did I mention it already? A TRAIN. But seriously, it's an awesome Zelda game. And the soundtrack is just as good as ever. Check it out.
