Zombicide is a collaborative game for 1 to 6 players developed by Guillotine Games and published by CoolMiniOrNot. A game lasts for 20min (beginner board) to 3 hours (expert board).
71 minis. A special effort has been given to detail and diversity: several models are available for most zombies of the same type (example: several models for "walker"-type zombies, including male and female versions). 9 double-sided gaming tiles. Scenarios take place on boards from two to nine tiles in a riot-devastated urban area. Characters move from zone to zone defined by walls and crosswalks. Designers were careful about the overall quality and playability of the tiles' illustrations. Double-sided tokens. Objective tokens. Door tokens. Car tokens. Noise tokens. Zombie spawn zone tokens. More tokens than required indeed. In fact, enough of them are planned to create your craziest scenarios. 110 cards. Including Equipment cards and Zombie cards.
New survivors and an expansion to the board game will be released in April 2013!
This game is amazing and lods of fun, the figures are really detailed the scenarios are exciting and as a beginner playing jumping into a game with a bunch of seasoned veterans I had no trouble picking it up and playing. This is a great game that is well worth owning even if you are not into zombies and the whole zombie franchise / theme.

A fantastic zombie apocalyptic board game with fantastic scenario and detailed mini figs! A great game for both beginners and expert players as the rules are simple and detailed. You can always go with house rules as well to make it more difficult. With many expansions if you wish to expand, look no further than Zombicide.

This is my second favourite game of all time. In my opinion the best zombie game on the market because you can actually feel the wave of zombies growing. when you see 20 zombies down one road and 15 down another road the tension builds and you start hoping like anything you can clear a path. This game has so much versatility. There are 6 survivors to play in the base pack and dozens more you can purchase to really diversify your game. You can add toxic zombies, zombie dogs and amazing weapons. But even without the expansions this game offers so many hours of fun. The standard game plays like a loose campaign and the developer website has countless additional maps to download. Opening a door is always tense. Do you split up to collect those cans of petrol or stay together. Kill too many zombies and the game just got harder for everyone. I hope you are ready. This is zombicide.

This game is quite fun, all the missions make for a different experience every game. Lots of fun to play with friends. The many expansion means you can always add more to your gaming experience, you never run out of survivors so no one has to sit. The thing is you don't want to run out of zombies then shit happens.........

This game can be amazing fun with its set missions that it gives you or the ones you can create for yourself. It is for those who enjoy an ever changing board game where they can make up their own rules and objectives as the game gradually gets harder and harder.
I have played hours (perhaps even days) of this game and it has yet to feel repetitious. I easily give it 5/5
