All of the eligible young men (and many of the not-so-young) seek to woo the princess of Tempest. Unfortunately, she has locked herself in the palace, and you must rely on others to bring your romantic letters to her. Will yours reach her first? Love Letter is a game of risk, deduction, and luck for 2 to 4 players. Your goal is to get your love letter into Princess Annette's hands while deflecting the letters from competing suitors. From a deck with only sixteen cards, each player starts with only one card in hand; one card is removed from play. On a turn, you draw one card, and play one card, trying to expose others and knock them from the game. Powerful cards lead to early gains, but make you a target. Rely on weaker cards for too long, however, and your letter may be tossed in the fire.

Great simple filler game you can play between other larger games or if just wanting to fill some time. Very easy to teach, with a rules summary only being a few paragraphs.
You start with a card, and on you turn pick up another and decide which card ability you want to use and discard it. With the aim of the game to have the highest value card at the end. After explaining people that you could start play with the abilities on the card people will quickly figure it out and with games so quick, you start again after the learning game.
It can be a little too simple if people are used to gaming.. But even then it doesn't last long enough to be annoyed.

Love letters is truly a great game. It is hard to find a decent party game, as the game must be enjoyable, yet simplistic enough to be able to quickly and easily explain the gameplay to new players. There is no extensive list of rules, and the gameplay is very quick. The only downside is that it only accommodates a maximum of 4 players. The artwork is very beautiful and the box is conveniently sized for travel.

Love Letter is simple but that simplicity belies some very clever game play. This is very easy to learn and the whole game can be played in about 15 minutes, and yet there is plenty of strategy required. Importantly it has the flexibility to work just as well with four people as with only two.

This is a super easy to learn, fun game that can actually have a little bit of strategy if you play your cards right (no pun intended!). Very easy learning curve and super quick to play. Great for groups, however can also be played between just two people. Great game, definitely recommend.

Love Letter is a fun, fantastic little 'filler' game, that can be played in under 15min. Despite only having 16 cards, this game has a surprising amount of strategy, and clever decision making of what to play and what to hold back. Also the psychological aspect of figuring out what your opponent has is fantastic! I much prefer this version to the original card game, as having a box makes it easier to store, and also looks fantastic on the shelf. Great game!
