The card game with ever changing rules! It starts out simple, with just the Basic Rule card: draw one card and play one card during each player's turn. But New Rule cards quickly make things chaotic. Even the object of the game will often change as you play, as players swap out one Goal card for another. Martian Fluxx is about all those great alien invasion stories going back to the original, the War of the Worlds.
A constantly-changing and challenging, but light and ultimately fun game.
Surprise cards which can be played at any time to cancel certain plays or steal a keeper as played

Fluxx gets a bit of a bad wrap for being heavily luck based and a bit crazy. However, I actually really enjoy it (as has everyone I've played it with). Winning the game is definitely heavily luck-dependent however, it is still fun as a quick filler game that is relaxing and fun rather than draining. Some of the new rule cards, such as one that rewards you if you talk like a pirate, are particularly fun.

I could do without fluxx, this one has some interesting veto cards that can be played out of turn but is much the same as other fluxx games in the past. It is very easy to teach and usually quite a quick game to play with makes it good as a filler game or for non gamers but it isnt something i would rush to go and play when picking a game

Good quick card game. I see this one as a filler game. To play this one well you need some experience understanding the different winning card combinations. You will improve your chances of winning significantly by holding card combinations in front of you that meet certain conditions as if you get the right pickup you will win.

Fun game, easy to teach, new players can be instantly competitive. Very accessible. Silly. Good in the right circumstances.
Difficult to meaningfully influence things although the interrupt cards and some of the action cards help, hard to have a coherent strategy. A huge amount of luck involved. Game length can widely vary. Big advantage for those who have played before and are familiar with the victory conditions.
Playing this game ain't all about winning. It can be fun enough in the right circumstances and works as light filler.
