UNO is one of the world's most popular family card games, with rules easy enough for kids, but challenges and excitement enough for all ages. Each player is dealt 7 cards with the remaining ones placed face down to form a "draw" pile. The top card of the draw pile is turned over to begin a "discard" pile. The first player has to match the card in the discard pile either by number, color or word. When you have one card left, you must yell "UNO" (meaning one). Failure to do this results in you having to pick two cards from the draw pile. That is, of course if you get caught by the other players. Once a player has no cards left, the hand is over. Points are scored and you start over again. For Ages 7 Years

the game is fun when you creature your own rules on top of the original ones or modify the original, otherwise it is a fairly basic game of matching colours and not much thought is required. however at its most basic form it is easy enough for any player to pick up and enjoy

Classic game. its a lot of fun if you are playing with your team mate. especially when you have to take draw 4 and then draw two, easy game with a lot of luck.very simple game, you just match your card with same number and colour except number 0 you have to swap your card with others player. Reverse or skip is the only rule UNO has.

I feel bad submitting a 1 1/2 star review for Uno, as it gave me countless hours of pleasure in high school, and I've had some laugh out loud moments playing that I remember 20 years later. But truthfully, Uno is not really a very good game. It is possible to have fun, but the only real skills are identifying the colours/numbers, which stops being a challenge once you are five, and knowing when and how to play the "special" cards (like selecting the right colour with a wild card). The game has a lot of luck, and can take too long for such a luck filled endeavour. Try it, to say you have, as it is a famous and well known game, but buy "The Great Dalmuti" for a card game just as easy, but a lot more fun.
