Dragon Age 3 Inquisition is the third installment in Bioware s popular Dragon Age franchise. The game utilizes DICE s Frostbite 2 technology and promises a massive world to explore deep customization great combat and choices that matter.

Explore a vast, fantasy world at the brink of catastrophe in Dragon Age™: Inquisition, a next-generation action RPG, where your choices shape and drive the experience. In this upcoming video game from BioWare, makers of Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age: Origins, you’ll make your mark in an expansive, story-driven open world filled with complex characters, challenging combat and difficult decisions.

A cataclysmic event has plunged the land of Thedas into turmoil. Dragons now darken the sky, casting a shadow of terror over a once-peaceful kingdom. Mages have broken into an all-out war against the oppressive Templars. Nations rise against one another. It falls to you to restore order as you lead the Inquisition and hunt down the agents of chaos - your choices will forever change the Dragon Age

  • Choose and lead a group of characters into challenging, visually spectacular battles against a variety of enemies – from earth-shattering High Dragons to demonic forces from the otherworld of the Fade. Go toe-to-toe in visceral, heroic combat as your followers fight by your side, or switch to tactical view to coordinate devastating offensives using the combined might of your party.
  • See the tangible, visible results of your journey through a living world – raise structures, customize outposts, and change the landscape itself as environments are re-shaped in the wake of your Inquisition.
  • Lead a party chosen from nine unique, fully-realized characters – each of whom react to your actions and choices differently, forming complex relationships both with you and with each other.
  • Create your own character from multiple races, customize their appearance, and select their powers and abilities as the game progresses. Extensive customization options allow you to choose everything from the color of your follower’s boots to the appearance of your Inquisition stronghold.
  • Become an agent of change in a time of uncertainty and upheaval. Shape the course of empires, bring war or peace to factions in conflict, and drive the ultimate fate of the Inquisition. Will you stop the cataclysmic anarchy gripping the Dragon Age?

Customer Reviews

Dragon age is a good series although the Dragon Age 2 suffers a bit. Inquisition is definitely and improvement on the previous but is by no means better than origins. There is so much to do and see in the new installment and is all compacted in a very interesting story and functional combat .

Dragon age is a good series although the Dragon Age 2 suffers a bit. Inquisition is definitely and improvement on the previous but is by no means better than origins. There is so much to do and see in the new installment and is all compacted in a very interesting story and functional combat .

Gameplay: 9/10 The game handles a lot like you'd expect from the Dragon Age series, so no major surprises for returning players. The major change though is the massive open maps instead of the on-rails dungeons that you're use to, they're quite good. The conversation choices are a little less obvious than DA2, so it is a bit more involved to respond during conversations - but you'll almost always make at least one person pissed off at you. You do get general information as to what important choices will result in though. Story: 9/10 It's a Dragon Age game; it builds on the previous lore and just feels "right". It does what any good story should; drive you to be more involved in the game world. You can optionally load in your other DA game data to continue your story, like Mass Effect. Graphics: 7/10 -1 point for some issues on launch, mostly around nvidia cards. -1 point for having seemingly high requirements for slightly improved graphics. -1 point for some issues on crossfire. (random black shadows, frame drops, etc) The rest of the 7 points are there because the graphics get the gone done at lower levels and at higher details are quite nice. You'll need a recent, multi-GB video card to get the most out of this game. You'll also need a beefy CPU. Controls: 7/10 It's being released on consoles at the same time, so it suffers some of the usual cross-platform corner cutting, however it's not so bad that it'll stop you playing, you can just notice bits of the UI where you think "ah, that would be easier on a console" and feel the current controls are a bit clunky. -3 points because "My Dragon Age doesn't need no stinking consoles!" Overall: 9/10 (4.5 stars) You just don't care about the down sides to be honest, the game will drive you to play more. Join the Inquisition!

Looks like a really awesome Dragon Age game, the graphics don' exactly look next-gen, but no doubt it will be just as good as the first one! Pre-ordered and can't wait to play!
