The upcoming title by Creative Assembly is not just a Total War sequel. As the direct successor to the best selling classic Rome Total War, Total War: Rome 2 is promised to be the culmination of the best of CA's efforts, making Rome 2 the biggest (strategy) game of 2013, and far and away the leader for all PC strategy platforms. Expected to be DLC heavy, pre-ordering is recommended so as to get a headstart with whatever extra goodies CA decide to put in
Rome Total war 2 looks like a great game especially looking at the game walkthroughs that they have released. The first Rome Total War game was amazing and i still play it constantly and now with adding the new greek states culture pack its going to make this game that one more step into epicness. The graphics in this look awesome and it is also going to be compatible with slower and lower class computers which is great to hear. They have also introduced Ships with the ability to use them in all sorts of battles, this i because your troops can now jump of there boats onto land and then fight. who knows maybe there will be an expansion for sea warfare. Would recommend 100% and ill se you online soon. (I bags Sparta)
This!! This game looks fantastic to say the least, Now before I continue about why you should buy this, check out the 2013 e3 footage on youtube. I've been a dedicated fan to the TW series since the first Rome Total War, and man was that an unforgettable experience. The Creative Assembly team has promised and by the looks of things guaranteed a huge-scale war, and improved city management systems.. and a much better A.I. Expected to be DLC heavy, pre-ordering is recommended if not essential so as to get a headstart with whatever extra goodies the developers/publishers Creative Assembly and Sega decide to put in! It's a definite buy for me!
As a long time fan of Creative Assembly, I must write some words of caution. Their most recent outings, Empire and Shogun, while both being solid titles, suffered from subpar launch editions. The games were either unoptimized or buggy, multiplayer support was incomplete. It was over a year before Empire Total War was decently playable without bugs concerning artillery crews, infantry units and melee mode, and a whole host of issues that made such a promising game painful to play. Shogun 2 faired better, but still had launch issues, and the multiplayer was patently untested (sword loan samurai were incredibly powerful). Add to this Sega's enthusiasm for DLC offerings and I would urge people to do some research before preordering, or even wait for the inevitable GOTY edition.
Rome total war 2 looks like an amazing game! Graphics look very nice! Can’t wait to get this game. It is one of the best games ever! Definitely worth buying and I will probably play his non stop for a few weeks LOL! Thanks oz game shop for amazing prices on these great games
