I found this game highly addictive, it's a shame the name makes the game seem vague and strange and one of those hit and miss creatures you take a risk on in the $5 bargain bin because I couldn't stop playing it for months. Although the dialogue is strange, saccharine and at times a little laboured - its a fine RPG with beautifully detailed backgrounds and locations - and an addictive battle system. Similar to Final Fantasy you'll find random encounters pop up as you travel around the pretty worlds bagging collectables, chests and playing around with your fire button shooting large crystals strategically placed through the levels that will allow you to teleport to get to secrets and powerful artifacts. Even after I'd completed this game I found it hard to stop playing - the music is okay, nothing special, and the story is long and involved as you'd expect from a japanese style RPG but your ability to find, and use magic and summon more and more powerful help grows on you as you come face to face with a huge number of enemies. Ignore the name, play the game.
