Product Description

Alpha Protocol Game PS3

Tailor your espionage skills and training to your play style and become the world's deadliest rogue agent in Obsidian Entertainment's blockbuster modern day espionage RPG thriller.

When a CIA operative is cut off from his own agency, when he no longer has backup, when his ties to the US government are severed, he has one option: the Alpha Protocol. Agent Mike Thorton's investigation led him to a once-in-a-career target, but when the operation gets called off at the last minute, that's when it begins. Plots are in motion in major cities around the world that will change them forever. Thorton has to work against the odds and the most dangerous operators in the spy game if he's going to stop them... and he will have to do it alone.

Redefined RPG – Classless system gives players the ability to mold Thorton into the secret agent they want him to become with lethal close combat techniques, marksman skills, proficiency with gadgets and much more. The International Spy – Players will travel around the world to international safe house locations to obtain information, mission objectives and conduct meetings with a growing list of contacts. Dialogue Stance System – With an innovative real-time dialogue system, the characters in Alpha Protocol will react to Thorton's each and every word. Caution and wit are needed as the stakes are high and the tensions mount in conversations that will have players on the edges of their seat.

I like 'em rough! This game is a third person action role playing stealth adventure. Not your typical RPG this game is more of a James Bond styled game. You can level up your character which will improve his abilities as the game goes on. The controls are bit rough at first, but that's part of the fun, as you level up these improve, especially aiming. Good story ties it all together too. A bit different!

This is a much more interesting game than people have made it out to be. I would actually argue that it's on par with Mass Effect 2. The gameplay is not balanced and the pistol tree makes things too easy, while everything else is too hard. Where it excels however is that you'll never play a game where the story changes branch out this much. It's an RPG, after all.

There's quite a few negative reviews around on this game but to be honest, as a casual gamer, I thought this game was great. The dialogue and choice system is very amazing and they make it feel like you really do impact the world around you. Apparently there are some problems with game play but I didn't really experience anything game-breaking in my two run-through. I guess this game is more suitable for people that enjoy the story more than an intense stealth/spy game.

It wasn't as bad as I kept hearing, it's maybe slightly below average. It reminded me a little bit of Deus Ex and the Metal Gear Solid games. I think what lets it down is the controls which definitely made the boss fights more difficult than they needed to be.

This game isn't as bad as they say. There are some cool gadgets and you can check emails that are sent to you, just like in real life. The combat system isnt very good though it can be hard to fist-fight and while the shooting component isn't great, it's not that bad either.I think they tried to copy Metal Gear Solid and failed. It does have some good settings, and lets you choose what mission you want to complete. Also, you can have conversations with people and choose the respnse you want to say to them which I thought was creative.Overall, good but flawed.
