My cheeks hurt every time I play this game. Why? This game is funny as hell. Voiced and worked on by Jack Black, the jokes are fresh and funny, and the gameplay isn't bad either. One of the best features of the game is the soundtrack. Metallica, and Black Sabbath are just some of the legendary bands featured, which helps set the atmosphere for the game.

One of the best games i've ever played. If you are fan of music this is the game for you. Jack Black is fantastic in this brillant game. Gameplay is amazing, story is very good and multiplayer is unique and fun. Hats off to developers Double Fine for this masterpeice.

This game was alright. I have liked metal music for a while and it was funny to play this and see the cameos by some big-name metal people (and some of the names for places/structures in the game) but the gameplay was boring and tedious. The story was nothing much either. Overall a funny game and fun to see all of the metal things in it, but that doesn't save the game.

This game provides plenty of comedic value and with Jack Black as the main character you are guaranteed to have a laugh once every so often. The game is simple to play and the the storyline is easy to follow which makes it a good game for all ages. The game does contain some coarse language however settings can be adjusted so that those words are bleeped out making it appropriate for most ages. A nice game for a change of pace and a bit of fun.

Double Fine, the cracked minds behind games Psychonauts, Costume Quest and Stacking, take on the sandbox heavy metal fighting genre in a big way with great results. It helps a lot of comedic artists lend their voices to the game (Jack Black is the main character, but you can hear Brian Posehn and Sarah Silverman in the crew). There's plenty of collectibles, upgrades and the rest for the obsessives - the game has a lot of rewards for exploring.
