Five of the best games ever made, easily some of the best entertainment around, beating even the most modern games. A must play for fans of platforming, story and action.

by Lachlan on May 1st 2012

Worth playing for Jak 2 alone. Jak 1 is a decent platformer, but it does kinda feel like a bit of a Spyro the Dragon Platformer. Jak 3 is a decent game, about 8hrs long but pretty easy and the story is all over the place.

Jak 2 is a freaking masterpiece. It's twice as long as Jak 3, coming in at 15-16 hours. It's way harder, there's more missions to do, the characters are better developed and Jak is a complete badass. It's my favourite platformer game ever, and you NEED to play this game.

Brings back memories of the PS2 days! For those of you who played it then, this remaster looses nothing of the original games, while making those graphics feel more modern (and saving you finding working PS2 equipment).

For those who never played it, this series is a classic run around collecting stuff and hitting things type, much like Spyro or Ratchet and Clank. Highly recommended.

It is Jak and Daxter just as you remember. Just the utter rush from nostalgia makes this worth playing alone, and they have managed to stand the test of time to still be relevant in today's gaming market. The 3D as well just makes it so much better, and is a great way to remember the past.

by Randeep on June 27th 2012

The Jak series are some of the best games to grace the PS2, and they hold up incredibly well on the PS3. Overall, the games combine solid gameplay, humour and story really well!

Jak & Daxter - This game is pure fun, and one the last open world 3D platformers. Fun platforming and puzzles, with some pretty great/cheesy humour.

Jak 2 & 3 - These games took a different turn from the first, and the influence from the GTA games is undeniable. More accessible open worlds with a much stronger focus on story and characters, these two are still a ton of fun.
