Sackboy is back and he wants your help making the best game ever. The last LittleBigPlanet allowed you to create and customise your very own 2D platform game but this sequel blows things wide open, so that you can make almost any kind of game you like.
As long as it's viewed in 2D you'll be able to construct a game however you like, creating racing, puzzle and role-playing adventures using all of the game's new tools. You'll even be able to film and playback your own cut scenes and record your own sound effects.
When you're done you can upload your creation online and let other people see your work - as well as download whatever they've made. Of course the game comes with plenty of its own built-in levels and games, with plenty to see and do even if you never create anything yourself. But where would be the fun in that?
D.I.Y. Gaming: The most versatile and easy to use game creation tool ever seen lets anyone create their own platform, puzzle, racing and role-playing games.
Gamebook: Become part of the online community and browse other people's creations, see how often yours has been downloaded and play four-player matches together.
Story Mode: Enjoy more than 40 new ready-made levels as you battle enemies across a wide range of game genres and themes from "Techno Renaissance" to "Hand-made Arcade".
Inspect Gadgets: Make use of all new gadgets such as the grapple hook, power gloves and the "Creatinator" that sees Sackboy spit out whatever you decide.
A Bigger Toolbox: Powerful new creation tools including customisable heads-up displays and artificially intelligent Sackbots that you can program and control.

A great platformer for the PS3. The story is somewhat weak, but passable, but the level design is excellent, although a little biased towards the multiplier, as the majority of levels have collectibles that can't be received on single player. The user made content is also very well built, providing hypothetically unlimited, well made levels. Definitely worth the money.

One of the best games and most creative one. Looks great and has the ability to play online with friends. Many levels almost unlimited which would keep you busy for months! If you like number 1 then this is a must get. Also this game is for all ages! The controls are good as well. Pretty cheep now if you haven't gotten it

Though I noticed a great improvement in the graphics and intricacy of the storyline, I felt uncomfortably lost in the level select screen. It seems a little messy. Also I joined up in co-op with someone who happened to be 5 levels ahead, so automatically I could continue the story from the end of that mission or go back and play the missions I missed to catch up in the story. Other than that, I really enjoyed the game and it holds true to the first game.

Here comes the award for most improved sequel. I loved this game, highly recommended for anyone to play. Probably one of the best multiplayer games out there and the real strength is the addition of a variety of modes outside of the usual platforming. They add in a story this time as well.

So many things to do in this game! I love how relaxed this game is, creativity is everywhere, literally. Once you are finished with the story there is still hours of endless fun in create mode. Making your very own levels exactly the way you want it. There are so many options on how to create your, some that you would think not possible at all. A great game for all ages.
