Product Description

Mass Effect 3 Game PS3

Not everyone will survive. An ancient alien race, known only as "Reapers", has launched an all-out invasion leaving nothing but a trail of destruction in their wake. Earth has been taken, the galaxy is on the verge of total annihilation, and you are the only one who can stop them. The price of failure is extinction.

You are Commander Shepard, a character that you can forge in your own image. You determine how events will play out, which planets to explore, and whom to form alliances with as you rally a force to eliminate the Reaper threat once and for all. How you wage this war is completely up to you: go into combat with guns blazing or use cover to plan a more tactical assault. Utilize your squad to full effect or take a lone wolf approach. Rain death from a distance or go toe-to-toe with enemies using devastating melee attacks. Mass Effect 3 will react to each decision you make as you play through a truly unique experience of your own creation.

  • A rich, branching storyline: Experience a sci-fi epic with multiple endings determined by your choices and actions throughout the game
  • Massive in scope: Battle on many worlds across the galaxy as you unite the ultimate force to take back the Earth before it's too late
  • Large-scale and intelligent enemies: Battle enormous enemies and take on a smarter type of foe that will consistently challenge your best combat tactics and put you on the edge of your seat
  • Unlock a customizable arsenal: Tailor each weapon with devastating upgrades including scopes, grips, barrels and dozens of other unique attachments. Each weapon boasts its own powerful impact and visual flair.
  • Unleash death from afar or go toe-to-toe: Customize your soldier and squad to engage the enemy on your terms. A huge variety of weapons, abilities and equipment allow you to combat the enemy in your preferred style of play.

While many will say that "the end was fixed thanks to free DLC", it still feels shallow and is an insult to the previous games. Even before that, the story lacks compared to ME2 and ME1, and the need for DLC to make the game feel complete is terrible. Gameplay is improved, and so are graphics, but when you're walking around a story that feels like the equivalent of a painting made in an hour, it's not the best.

Mass Effect 2 is in my top 5 favourite games of all time. Although another fantastic entry into the series, Mass Effect 3 was a slight disappointment. It retains all of what made Mass Effect 2 amazing, but the story feels a bit contrived and for some reason the controls don't feel as responsive as the previous entry, which makes some sections pretty frustrating to get through. Still a very good game, and an essential for fans of the series.

The let down for me, as many have stated was definitely the ending. Coming off a Mass Effect 2 induced high, I had very high expectations as to how this trilogy would end, and it just didn't live up to them. Regardless, the journey to the end is still fantastic and entertaining. Definitely recommend starting from the first game though! Also, might be a good idea to get the DLC for this one, as I find it adds to the experience (I got quite attached to the characters) but of course, not necessary.

Alot of my friends said buying this would be a mistake but they were wrong. It has the coolest graphics and i would even go as far as saying the aliens look way better than halo's one's. at the price of $26 here on ozgameshops is a bargain.

While it might not be the greatest ending a trilogy has ever seen there can be no denying the quality of Mass Effect 3. Easily the best Sci fi gaming series around the final chapter doesn't disappoint in terms of broadening the scope of an already epic universe. Everything you have come to expect from the franchise is back with more refinements and polish. Excellent combat and worthy end of a great trilogy even know the ending of the story might disappoint a few fans
