Learn more about usThis game is different than any other sandbox game as it takes place other than America. The game is set in Hong Kong and it does feel alive when walking through the streets at the night market. This game is mainly focused in melee combat and United Front Games have executed it, it is so far the best game I've seen to do so. Racing is quite arcadic yet it is so much fun ramming the opponents out of the way. And I've got to say, the rain is just amazing! To sum it up, this is just like a great cinematic Hong Kong action movie.
While the story mode is enjoyable and it's fortunate to see an Asian (or any non-white, really) protagonist in a game, it isn't that memorable and the side content in the game is absolutely terrible padding. If you like sandbox, check it out but this is by no means a must-play.
Finally finish with this game and I think it is my first GTA kinda style, open world/sandbox environments game. I usually stay away from this kind of game, except if its RPG style because I know I am very bad at shooting game (with RPG you can easily level us and heal yourself), but Sleeping Dogs was good. The fighting system is awesome, reminded me of those old Hong Kong movie, especially since the setting is in Hong Kong. I also love how Edison Chen was also in the game and how they incorporate the cantonese language. I can feel that I am in Hong Kong despite playing in my living room.
Wat an awesome game . I really enjoyed playing both sides of the law and using objects in your environment to deal some awesome damage to your enemies. The story line was very engaging and kept me interested the hole way through the game . If u enjoy a good kung food fighting style game u will love this 1 get it ASAP
I had a lot a fun with this game, its a good kind of different being in Hong Kong but is still a load of fun and is definitely worth the money. The fighting system is the main focus around the game which works so well and fluidly and even though guns aren't a big focus it still delivers good there. The story is fairly long and enjoyable and kept me interested the whole way through.
