Sega was very happy to choose the scenarios to be recreated and effectively as the mechanics are used in each. The plot is cool, the scenarios are very interesting, but unfortunately, "Sonic Generations" has a very short lifetime in his story mode.
This is a great game for the sonic fan. Great level designs that have loads of colour. Game is good and it is great to choose new sonic or retro sonic to play the levels with. Some didnt like sonic and say he is getting a bit old but I really liked this game and think its good fun.

This is a remake/re imagination of the Sonic games, in the classic mode you play a strictly 2D game (but with graphics of a modern console).While in modern mode it is a hybrid 2D/3D environment. This is a must have for any Sonic Fan.
Retro Radical! This game is a 2D side scrolling action adventure with some 3D gaming mixed in. Play as sonic in his classic form and now modern form through a mixed bag of old levels reimagined and new ones to discover and explore. Gameplay is as it should be, fast and faster. Levels are fun and look great in HD. Speed up!
Fantastic game, a real step up from previous sonic games with mixed 2D and 3D segments. But the PS3's hardware does require the game to have some tedious loading screens. I would recommend Sonic Generations for the PC, but the PS3 and 360 versions are both great and have the original Sonic the Hedgehog game included as an unlockable, unlike the PC version. A great game for both old fans of the series to reflect on past Sonic games and new fans to see Sonic's legacy.
