Customer Reviews

The idea of this game was great, train like a UFC star if you are an average Joe. However, the application leaves a lot to be desired. I feel this game is more for fun than fitness really. Use the trainers if you are starting, this UFC game tries to push you hard quickly. The bugs and very repetitive exercises makes me go to sleep sometimes. I would not recommend this game if you have any pre-existing health conditions. Best to consult medical advice to device a proper dietary and exercise plan.

This is a pretty good ps3 training game that uses the new move control system. This uses the UFC training system so has some pretty good fighting moves for you to workout with and build a sweat with. I find with alot of the move games the tracking does get a bit funny especially if you move very fast (eg with tennis or training games). Fun exercise program.

this ufc training game is a great way too lose weigth and most importantly, having fun while doing so, it has basic excercise to help tone, or lose weight to help meet your personal goal. i know i will be playing this as it has helped me a lot already and im actually starting to get the abs now.

UFC Trainer is quite good. The amount of exercise you can get from it is surprisingly good. It does know how to get your heart racing and teach you the proper way to train. But it is far from the workout experience.

Positives:
Proper training regime - Warm up, tutorial, routine, cooldown. Exactly how you should train (minus tutorial)
Body condition tracker - The game lets you know which areas of your body you've been working on. So if you want or need to work specific areas, you can.

Negatives:
Warm ups and cool downs - With each routine gets irritating, especially if your a pretty fit person as is (one routine isn't enough to break a sweat).
No such thing as a quick workout - Going into a quick workout still makes you do the warm up, tutorial, workout, cooldown. Not really quick is it. Minimum time on each session is 15-20mins.
Move controller - You will experience a lot of problems with the move controller moving off screen. It takes a few adjustments to the Eye before you can properly track yourself. It would of helped if they showed you what the Eye was looking at when you sync the Move controller (other move games do it). Also the Eye struggles to keep up if you do your moves at a quick pace.
Dual Move controllers - The worst implementation. In exercises that should be using dual controllers, don't. I was doing a Jab, Cross, Uppercut routine but only using one Move controller despite setting my options to use two controllers.
Leg strap - Poorly designed. It slips off so easily. Even when it feels like I'm cutting off circulation to my leg, it still trickles down.

Overall:
My recommendation is to use the trainers, especially if your a beginner. Learn the routines and then do those routines on your own (all you need is a timer and mirror). I would only recommend this for beginners, when it comes to exercise. It provides a great platform to get started working out regularly and learning the ropes. But any serious person should give this a miss.
