Warhammer 40K is an interesting enough world as it is, but as a third person styled action hack and slash type game, this game has a unique feel that makes this all the more fun. The look of the game is right on par with how this universe should be presented, along with the soundtrack and effects. It all comes together to deliver the world of Warhammer 40K in the form of a video game that you can explore and become lost in. Even if you aren't into Warhammer 40K, this is still a more than fun enough and interesting game to enjoy.

SPOYCE MOREENS!!!!! Did you like that? I hope so, because you will hear it a lot. This game has pretty tight controls, good weapons, and the healing mechanic (do special finishing moves on enemies to gain health) really helps speed up the action. That said, the game doesn't really change as it goes on. Different enemies appear, but you generally deal with them in the same way, just with the more powerful versions of weapons you got at the start. If you are a fan of the 40k universe, you've probably already bought this game. If not...well, it is Ok, but you may want to play other games first. Still, this game has been out for a while and is pretty cheap. So maybe get it and save it for a slow day. It is still pretty fun, if a bit repetitive. Now, one more time...SPOYCE MOREENS!!!!!!!

This game is a definite for the die hard fans, as it stays very true to the warhammer world. Very tight FPS controls, and some nice variety in combat, makes quite a fun and polished game by THQ. The SP campaign is pretty decent (about 17 chapters) and MP is pretty good, though as previously mentioned, not a huge amount of modes to choose from, but what I played, it was very solid online. For a FPS you cannot really go to wrong, but I think for a cheap price worth a look, and a definite for the true fans of warhammer!

When i first purchased space marine i expected it to be a basic game that would take up my time for about a 3 days to be honest. Boy was i wrong. Come for the campaign, stick around for the multiplayer. Although this game lacks variety of playable modes its available modes run super well and work! I did run into a few glitches and annoying bugs when you execute enemies and i did find the story a little boring and a typical, expectable shooter storyline. Whilst the game isnt revolutionary it does an excellent job of near perfecting th modern the modern day shooter. With improved graphics, storyline and more game modes the sequel will easily win a 4, maybe even 5 star rating.
