Alien Isolation Nostromo Edition PS4 Game

Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien Isolation Nostromo Edition PS4, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger. Fifteen years after the events of Alien, Ellen Ripley's daughter, Amanda enters a desperate battle for survival, on a mission to unravel the truth behind her mother's disappearance.

As Amanda, you will navigate through an increasingly volatile world as you find yourself confronted on all sides by a panicked, desperate population and an unpredictable, ruthless Alien.

Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.

  • Overcome an ever-present deadly threat – Experience persistent fear as a truly dynamic and reactive Alien uses its senses to hunt you down and respond to your every move.
  • Improvise to survive – Hack systems, scavenge for vital resources and craft items to deal with each situation. Will you evade your enemies, distract them or face them head on?
  • Explore a world of mystery and betrayal – Immerse yourself in the detailed setting of Sevastopol, a decommissioned trading station on the fringes of space. Encounter a rich cast of inhabitants in a world scarred by fear and mistrust.

Nostromo Edition Includes

Crew Expendable DLC: The original crew are reunited on the Nostromo. With Brett and Kane dead, team up with Ash and Lambert to stop the bloodshed before it’s too late. Take control of Dallas, Parker or Ellen Ripley to hunt down the Alien and overcome the terror that is tracking you down!

Alien Isolation is a tour de force in atmosphere, and survival horror. A true marathon of tension. Unfortunately limited to one play through as almost every set piece is scripted to play out one way only. However you with be gripping the controller with white knuckles on that first play through.

Fairly easy to pick up game, but it can be so confusing sometimes and I think that's what makes this game great. It's an FPS game basically but in the campaign you start your journey without any weapons. The game actually reminds me of a FPS version of Resident Evil with aliens instead of zombies. There's hours of gameplay in this one.

Alien Isolation kept me completely enthralled from start to finish, which is pretty rare for me. For an action game it offers a lot of value in terms of length, but I didn't find it overstayed its welcome - the environments are nicely varied and the story interesting. If you are a fan of Dead Space, Resident Evil, Bioshock or similar, it's pretty likely you'll enjoy this. I'm an average gamer but I definitely recommend the hardest difficulty, especially if you are going for a "kill no humans" run.

In many ways it's the best Alien-franchise game to ever come out - great graphics, respect for the source material, cinematic and even the original cast in the Nostromo missions. On the other hand, the game is over-long, and while the AI is very well done, it takes a certain mentality to have the patience to play through 12 hours of hide and seek. The Joe sections are even worse, since I assume most people buying this game are here for the Xenomorph and not Discount Ash. It's not a bad game by any means, but it requires the correct mindset to play though. I can see a lot of copies of this game going unfinished.
