This game is about as fun as pulling teeth, Yes, it just like the original Games work shop board game version and it is about one third as exciting though. The game play is stiff and slow and boring and only the biggest fan of Warhammer 40k universe would not be disappointed

As a fan of the original Games Workshop board-game, plus the original video game adaption, I am happy with this PS4 adaption. For those who do not know anything about the franchise, the game is set in the Warhammer 40k universe where Space Marines battle to the death with Tyranids on a derelict spacecraft.
The action is turn based. The gameplay is generally slow and you need to plan out your moves strategically - knowing when to be slow-and-steady and when to rush forwards. There is an element of RNGesus which means death is a certainty which will need to be accepted.
The only negative, which is why I did not provide five stars, is the easily abused undo option - allowing you to continually select the undo option until RNGesus falls in your favour. This to me ruins the whole experience. While I agree that user constraint and will power falls under this, personally I feel it's a bad inclusion and should have been limited - to either moving actions or 1 per turn.

If you are a fan (like me) of the original GW board-game version, than you will be happy with this game.
On PS4 it runs good but don't waste your time with the PS3 version (runs slow and freezes a lot).
Highly recommend this game if you "are" a Space Hulk fan. For the emperor!
