This was such a great start to the new series of Tomb Raider. First thing that has to grab my attention is story and this had such a great story that kept me interested and kept me wanting more. Second thing that has to be the graphics, they were incredible. Games like this that use motion capture add such realism to the gaming world. The overall game play was very enjoyable. The only thing that didn't get that last half a star for me was the acting. It sounded to forced and scripted, but in saying that it didn't take anything away from the immersive game play. Highly Recommend.

There's a lot of reviews for Tomb Raider Definitive edition here so I'll be brief. Basically this will be for two different types of people. First, if you have already played this on PS3 and enjoyed it, then definitely pick this up. Especially at this price! The graphical upgrades are worth the purchase alone. So why not get back into some Tomb Raiding with the amazing Lara and see what a difference the graphics upgrade make to the gaming experience. Second, if you haven't played this reboot version of Tomb Raider and was put off by previous games under the Tomb Raider title, and also enjoyed games like Uncharted then you should 100% get this game. Again the price is too good not to pick this up. It has a great story, great graphics (with the famous hair physics which work really well), there is great gun play sections, stealth sections, set pieces ala Uncharted (but better IMO) and some of the most brutal death animations i've ever seen. The puzzles are well thought out, although I wish the tomb puzzles themselves were a bit more challenging. The do make good use of physics and gravity though. I'm not normally a fan of quick time events but in this game they are few and far between and don't overstay their welcome like some other games do. You'll be keen to unravel the mysteries of the island as you play through keeping the pace of the game going along at a nice pace. There are upgrade materials to collect to both upgrade the weapons Lara uses as well as upgrading the skills that Lara can perform. Other collectibles flesh out the story and give clues as to what has happened on the island and it goes deeper than I originally expected. It's a great game and a steal at this price. Make sure you pick up your copy NOW!

Perhaps if you live under a rock you may not know much of the Tomb Raider series, however most gamers know what they are getting with this game. This rebooted edition of Tomb Raider is well worth the money, stunning graphics, engaging combat and satisfying gameplay make it a must play. If you enjoyed the Unchartered series on PlayStation then this will fill a gaming hole now that Nathan Drake has retired. Recommended.

Got this back in 2015 but didn't get to play until recently, well worth the time to revisit this game. Pleasantly surprised by it great story line, graphics and game play, especially playing it right after playing The Last of Us. Looking forward to the sequel Rise of the Tomb Raider to be release later this year on PS4.

This game is absolutely fantastic! Well worth the money - I only paid $26, but I would have bought it for $60. It reminds me of the Uncharted series, but so much better. The open world is so much larger, you get more freedom to explore. The weapons are fantastic -of course it has guns, but the bow and arrow is the stand out of this game. The graphics are just amazing and the gameplay is quick and engaging.
