First off, I found this game to be a rather bizarre addition to the final fantasy franchise. Squaresoft/Enix is famous for its brilliant JRPGs with solid stories. They took a risk producing this game and it paid off. Its a lot of fun, but I did find the controls to be a little bit clumsy at times. It was worth aquirring though and I do find it fun, I would recommend it for anyone who is a fan of the franchise.

Surprisingly, one of the best Final Fantasies in ages. Dissidia Final Fantasy is a one-on-one fighter with spectacle fighter elements set in a world where various Final Fantasy protagonists have teamed up against the series villains for the fate of the world. The writing is surprisingly good given the concept and the combat is superb, with excellent graphics for a handheld. Any PSP owner who doesn't have this game is missing out.

Great fan service but an excellent game as well. Final Fantasy Dissidia is a quality fighting game that blends rpg elements. Being able to face off as classic Final Fantasy characters (Cloud being the standout here) is a lot of fun. Being able to level up your character adds to the longevity. The game also supports multiplayer which works really. The games presentation is excellent, the graphics and soundtrack are among the best you will see on the PSP. A great Final Fantasy experience.

As a Final Fantasy (and indeed JRPG) nut, this game was a godsend. It's a fighting game with a twist, with your favourite characters from each Final Fantasy game and it'll keep you occupied for hours. I really didn't have much motivation to play after I got Cloud to Level 100, but the game provides plenty of opportunity to play for ages. That said, I'd recommend the "sequel" to this, Dissidia 012 [duodecim] purely because it expands on the gameplay mechanics with new characters, skins, maps and much more. Ad-hoc multiplayer is brilliant, I'd definitely recommend this game.
