this is a great movie if you are a star trek fan the graphics for this movie are amazing and the story line is really good. when you are about to start a series you have to start off with a strong movie so that it gets you hooked and they definitely succeded. if you want a really good sci-fi movie that hasn't got swearing and innapropriate stuff like that then this is a great movie for you. next movie in the series is into darkness that is a better movie than this but this was only the first movie in the series so for this price i would recommend buying this especially for this price:D

I really loved this "reboot" of the Star Trek movies, and feel this is one of the most accessable Star Trek movies ever to people who are not Star Trek fans (even to people who don't often like sci fi, as it has so much action). The movie is very well produced, brilliantly acted (I love Pegg as Scotty), and full of high budget action. It may disappoint some hard core Trek fans for changing Star Trek canon, but for everyone else, this is a blast.
