Mario Kart with motion controls - it works and it works very well indeed. Unique tracks with all your favourite characters and special items, but with a whole new feel and on a grander scale. The controls are intuitive and have the same old feel but in a new way, making for a refreshing version of this much loved series. With a friend or on your own, this is a must have and compatible with the Wii U too.

Amazing in this game its like your ordinary racing game but with mario and co and with power ups the aim of the game is to complete races and try to come first with doing so you unlock new races and modes and new characters this game is old but is way worth the money. I would recommend to anyone

While everyone thinks that Mario Kart Wii was the next big step towards the future of Mario Kart, I thought that this installment was...a bit shabby. No, I don't hate Mario Kart as a general. I love it to shreds. However, upon playing MKW after playing Mario Kart Double Dash and Mario Kart 7 to compare with Wii, I thought that MKW was not as good as other Mario Kart instalments. For one, the CPU is much more delinquent and cruel, and it makes the single player experience unfair. Heck, even 50cc can be a bit tricky. Combining this and the fact that you'll need to NOT lose your 1st place position throughout the entire Cups you play to get the best rankings for 100% completion makes the effort to get the best ranking impossible, time-wasting, and infuriating. On top of that, getting hit by items makes the player spin out in most MK games, but in MKW, getting hit by a shell immediately stops you from doing anything and you'll lose the 1st place standing in the race (and your chance at the best ranking) much quicker. And for the Spiny Shell (NOT Blue Shell, I'm using the official name), getting hit by said thing will MAKE YOU FLY AND OMFG I LOST. And this makes you take forever to get to top speed again. Not cool. Also, some of the new items are stupidly annoying. Mega Mushrooms are basically nerfed Star items, and since CPUs will use that, as well as other CPUs using Stars, Bullet Bills and such, losing the race is very easy. Also, Thundercloud? REALLY?! God, I hate that item. Also, I think the character roster is crap. Baby Peach?! Funky Kong?!? BABY F***ING DAISY?!!? REALLY?!?! (And this is her first appearance in ANY Mario game, btw.) Where's Petey Piranha? Paratroopa? Heck, I'd have Wart from Super Mario Bros 2 be part of the roster since I like obscure characters instead of stupid recycled baby characters!! And, bikes. F***ing bikes. Too OP. Hate them. This is Mario Kart not, Mario Bike, stupid. And also, the Wi-Fi features was sh*t. Too much hacking, and it was broken. The controls are also craptastic. I hate this game. But I still love every other Mario Kart game. And you know what's the funny thing? I'M A HUGE NINTENDO FAN. So there.

Mario kart really doesn't feel like it has changed a lot since the nintendo 64. I'm not sure that is a bad thing though. This is, as it always has been, a really fun game that is easy to jump into and fun for players even if they have less experience than other people. For that reason this is a great game to play with friends or family
