A brand-new and unique First Person Shooter IP from the teams that brought you Gears of War and Painkiller. Epic Games, People Can Fly and Electronic Arts present Bulletstorm, an over-the-top shooter that introduces signature 'kill with skill' gameplay. Set in a futuristic utopia, an elite peacekeeping force thwarts the rumblings of civil war. But deception within the ranks has caused two members of the most feared unit, Dead Echo, to strike out on their own. Now washed-up mercenaries turned space pirates, Grayson Hunt and Ishi Sato's latest quest for a quick buck goes south. Stumbling upon their ex-commander's warship, the Ulysses, Grayson engages this behemoth head-on. Outmanned and outgunned, his only option is to ram the Ulysses in a suicidal bid at redemption. Narrowly surviving a crash landing and now stranded on the abandoned paradise planet of Stygia, Grayson and Ishi find themselves surrounded by hordes of mutants and flesh-eating gangs. They survive on two objectives: get off the planet alive and exact revenge on the man who sent them there.
Incredible New "Skillshot" System: Combine outrageous gunplay with Bulletstorm's unique kick, slide and leash mechanics as you Kill with Skill. Every enemy presents a new opportunity for stylish, over-the-top and ever increasingly bloody ways to take them down

Use these upgrades to pull off even bigger and better "skillshots" and earn even more points… Bulletstorm's upgrade system truly is a circle of awesome that rewards players who kill in the most creative ways

Bit of a disappointment with Bulletstorm. It was built to be a good game put it did not have that impact (like poor old Duke Nukem). Its a very cheap frag feast if that is what you are up for. I can be fun it just gets old very quickly that all.

Killshots. That's where it's at. BulletStorm is one of the best games to come out of EA in quite a long time. From the moment you start playing, the game grabs you, and doesn't let go. You just can't help but get all of those special killshots to get that pesky achievement!
Get this game.

Forget your preconceptions of Bulletstorm as a foul-mouthed big dumb action game. It's an intelligent, nuanced design with fathoms of depth, which marks a return to the importance of player creativity in shooters and simultaneously evolves the concept of interactivity in an FPS world. And with two cleverly complimentary secondary modes, it will have serious legs for a good long while to come.

i can sum this game up with one simple word,FUN. so many games these days take themselves way to seriously but this one is wholly and solely about the sheer fun of playing games. it has excellent graphics and an excellent sense of humour about itself and the wider gaming industry,a definate must buy especially considering how cheap it is

Solid gameplay that adds a twist to the standard FPS fare, this rewards players who seek creative ways to dispatch of their foe. The story served to move the game along but wasn't compelling, at its core a simple story of redemption and vengeance that failed to really make me invest in any characters. But the gameplay is really where this shines, with a good variety of weapons and enemies set amongst some fantastic locations.
