The game does not hold your hand forcing you to experiment and learn.<br /> So when you go into battles expect to die... alot.
Dark Souls is an amazing game. I've read a lot of reviews saying it's very difficult and you will die a lot, which to be honest is a pretty accurate summation, however you never feel cheated by this. It's challenging and fun, and it pushes you to keep playing. If you like a challenge and enjoy the fantasy genre, you can't go wrong with this game. It's a must buy.
Insanely difficult game that tells the story through your own experience. It throws intimidating challenges at you that you have to overcome in your own way through strategic combat. You're never really safe in this game, and even the most basic enemies can kill you if you let your guard down. A great experience if you're up to the challenge, and the game is well made with a responsive combat system.
If you think this is anything like Skyrim, then this is not the game for you. Lots of patience is required to complete a playthrough but it is one of the most rewarding games I have ever played. The online phantoms adds more fun to the gameplay itself Definitely recommend this game!
