After playing the first dead space, this game wasn't as scary, like I can play DS2 at night and without any people around me, can't do that for DS, but in saying that doesn't mean it doesn't have any jump scares, it does. If you like the first one you really like this DS2.

Superb game, will definitely have you in suspense and wanting more. Be sure to set the darkness level correctly as most of the game play is in darkness, just the way its supposed to be played to ensure you are kept on the edge of your seat. Also make sure you have a second pair of underwear as there are many frights in this game.

This game is amazing. I scares the hell out of me, but in a way that keeps my heart rate up and keeps me interested in playing more. I only wish that you could customize weapons like in dead space 3, but other than that this game is pretty damn good and i would defiantly recommend it.

Dead Space was a fantastic game and quickly became one of my favourite survival horror games in recent years. Taking everything that made the first game exciting, they improved on most of it, making a sequel that escaped most of the pitfalls that other series often fall into. Like with the previous game, be prepared for the same level of tension and excitement.

I loved Dead Space 1, it was like Aliens on heat - the best sci-fi horror I've played for a long time and unbelievably violent and gory. I wasn't sure how they'd improve it, or if they could because DS1 was an awesome ride but I wasn't disappointed. Weaponry was enhanced greatly and the upgrades just kept coming. I worried it be more of the same but somehow the developers kept the story fresh and delivered new horrors and surprises, new puzzles and an even more rewarding battle system. The graphics were slick and impressive and attention to detail kept the game exciting - you never knew what was going to be around the next corner but you knew the next corner wasn't going to be like the last. Google screenshots of this baby and if you think it looks that good - it really is. An excellent sinister sequel to an intriguing franchise. I'm saving hard for Dead Space 3.
