Mass Effect 2 build on the original Mass Effect in all ways possible, despite being lighter on RPG mechanics. The story is richer, the characters are more fleshed out and the gameplay is undoubtedly more solid. As well as this, classes feel truly distinct, and will significantly influence the way you play through the game. This game is truly unmissable!

Mass Effect 2 takes place two-years after the events of Mass Effect, and players are given the choice of either continuing their compaign with the character they created in Mass Effect, or starting fresh - which is an obvious choice for those who never played the original Mass Effect. Like ME1, ME2 is a mix of RPG (Role Playing Game) and Third Person Shooter set in a futuristic universe. The new game boasts some 50+ hours of game time, making it much larger than the original, along with updated graphics and a whole host of new characters. RATING: 9/10

Continue your adventure from its excellent predecessor as Commander Shepard. Meet new friends, make new enemies, visit new exotic locations, and tread lightly an on uneasy alliance. Fight new enemies and discover the truth behind the Reapers evil ends. Gameplay is much improved in this sequel. Graphics are updated and the texture popping and frame rate issues that plagued the first Mass Effect are barely noticeable here.
An excellent game, where the only thing I can fault it on is the absence of the Mako and the free world exploration. Would much prefer this than planet scanning. Planet scanning is evil!!

This game addresses all of the issues from the first game and adds an absolutely fantastic combat system as well. Although it has been more streamlined with less RPG elements, that can be seen as an advantage rather than a shortcoming especially considering the amount of content in this game and the quality of it.

Mass Effect 2 is an exciting role playing game that has intense emotional thought provoking game with ability to build friendships with crew and romances and the ability to make them loyal and to be good or evil decisions like finishing off a few enemies rather than listen to them talk definately a must buy game
