Best platformer for ages. Looks incredible, the art style is just so amazing. If you play it in full HD you will just be amazed, I stopped many, many times just to look at how good it looked. It also helps that the gameplay is awesome aswell and that there is a heap of levels that will take a fair time to beat and then you can got through them with friends, to get all the collectibles, do speed or do the mode were you have to do it with a certain time with only 1 life.
Rather old-school in its approach, Rayman Origins still remains a game that fits well with today's standards. Its gorgeous, blessed by an exceptional soundtrack, it's beyond reproach in terms of fine-tuned gameplay, for a 2D platform approach that's super rich, and intense in terms of challenge. As fun and enticing in solo play as it is in multiplayer, it has almost no shortcoming.
Rayman Origins is a delightful platformer full of the characteristic, quirky visuals that have become synonymous with the franchise. It features engrossing music, hilarious sound effects, intuitive controls, a cast of humorously off-beat cards, immersing game-play with the ability to revisit levels for speed and completion trophies, and a unique atmosphere. It comes highly recommended for those that enjoy platformers with an endearing quality, and will keep you engaged for hours on end.
