To me Soulcalibur V was a letdown especially for me being a big fan of the soul series for years. Although the fighting in the game is great and the customization is a lot of fun, the lack of content is just horrid along with the story mode. Even having Ezio in the game doesn't make up for it. If you're a big fan of the soul series you might want to pick this up but overall I'll say get number 4.

Set seventeen years after Soul Calibur IV, Soul Calibur V introduces a number of new characters to the roster and offers new game play tweaks and online enhancements.
Ezio Auditore da Firenze from the Assassin's Creed series has made a guest appearance and featuring new main characters; Patroklos Alexandra and Pyrrha Alexandra, children of prominent series heroine Sophitia Alexandra.
To me it's still Soul Calibur I love, online includes Rivals and Ranked matches (& ranking system) as well as a Global Colosseo.

Soul calibur is an awesome series and this one is a good one. There has an occasion when the soul series got a bit of a worry but with this it seems to return to greatness. Great gaming visuals and very easy to play for minutes or hours at a time.

The Soul Calibur series has always been up there with the best of the fighters over the generations and remains so to this day. Whether it's the solid combat mechanics, stunning visuals, or exciting guest characters with each installment, Soul Calibur is not to be missed! Great for beginners or fighter veterans!
