It’s not often you can say things like I rode from Arizona shrouded by night to Laguna Beach bathed in morning sunlight. This is what the crew does best. Rather than thinking of it as a racing game it is more like an MMO with the cherry on top of being an awesome car game too. Though it’s pretty sweet to play with friends personally I really love playing solo.

In The Crew, you follow a Fast and Furious" story about taking down corrupt government agents that set you up. You level up by earning experience for completing missions, challenges, finding landmarks, etc. There's weekly events and "raids--multi hour races" to complete like MMOs.

The Crew is, so far, the only game that features a huge game world, online open world racing, cockpit mode, and car customization, all in a neat package. While it has its own share of issues, particularly with car handling, it is still a fun game that you should give a go.

In short, if you like games like TDU2 and Need for Speed Most Wanted, then you'll love The Crew. The game has a large and detailed world filled with lots of fun things to do alone or with other players, as well as having a fairly extensive car customization system.

I just bought the Crew on Friday and haven't got too far into it, but so far I’m having a ton of fun with it! Yeah it might not have the greatest graphics or best car physics, but when you just take the time to actually sit down and get into the game I find it hard not to enjoy the crew.
