Mad Max delivers open world gameplay in a post-apocalyptic setting where cars are the key to survival. Gamers become Mad Max, a lone warrior who must fight to stay alive in The Wasteland, using vicious on-ground and vehicular combat against savage gangs of bandits. Following the theft of his iconic Interceptor, Max must align himself with a gifted, but peculiar, mechanic named Chumbucket and others to build the ultimate war vehicle as he works to escape from the dangerous Wasteland.

Mad Max is a beautiful sleeper hit. Worth checking out. Hopefully they make a sequel one day!
Mad Max is a fun game - and one of the best movie tie-in games recently - in the first 3 or so areas where you systematically upgrade you car, smash/kill things, but after about 70% of the way it starts to become tedious and repetitive. Sure the challenge ramps up and the game is gorgeous, but after you've spent enough points in the survival element, its just same-same only larger scale with the areas. It's fantastic to a point - where that point is depends on your patience level. However, it does look GORGEOUS, is genuinely fun and really immersive into the Mad Max world PLUS the RPG elements of upgrading your gear and unlocking things via challenges = good. With the price now, it is also definitely worth considering to add to your collection.
mad max is a really fun open world game with max and his little companion dedicated to the magnum opus the battles are very enjoyable taking over the land bit by bit the thing i like about your car is that you can upgrade it harpoon sniper rifle sideburners it would have been good if you could have done up more than one car but overall the game is really fun
As the first post-release review, let me say that Mad Max shares a lot of similarities with Fury Road, the Mad Max movie released earlier this year. It's a spectacular looking game, the car combat is downright fun and the desert open world is as desolate and beautiful as you'd expect on a current-fen system. Though Mad Max the game fails at showing all of its cards far too early: there isn't enough quest variety throughout the world, the melee combat is a simplified incarnation of the Batman Arkham series and you soon learn that most Scavenger areas aren't worth your time - due to minute rewards of Scrap. This is a good open world game with lots of action and rewarding customisation to Max and your chosen vehicle. But there's a lot missing, too.
Ahhh finally a worthy replacement for Twisted Metal post a apocalyptic style. Let's all prey for a great translation and not the disappointment that Rambo offered us. Looks good so far, and more insight to missions, skillset and possible playable characters will show if the Warner Bros can show their standard.
